General Terms and Conditions
Terms and Conditions – Sophie's Sound
1. Applicability
These Terms and Conditions apply to all quotations, agreements and services provided by Sophie's Sound.
2. Quotations
All quotations are non-binding unless otherwise stated.
3. Bookings
A booking becomes final once both parties have agreed to the booking.
4. Payment
Performances
Invoices must be paid within 14 days of the invoice date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Singing Lessons
After purchasing a private lesson package, it is not possible to receive a refund or payment in cash for all or part of the package.
Private lesson packages are valid for one year from the date of purchase.
Students aged 21 and over are subject to VAT. The applicable 21% VAT is included in the lesson rate for students aged 21 and over.
5. Cancellation
For the applicable cancellation terms and conditions, please refer to the separate page “Cancellation Policy.”
6. Liability
Sophie's Sound is not liable for the loss of or damage to coats, bags or other personal belongings of visitors or students.
Sophie's Sound is not liable for injuries, physical complaints or other harm sustained by visitors or students during, before or after singing lessons.
Any damage caused to Sophie's Sound by a student or visitor may be recovered from the responsible student or visitor in accordance with applicable statutory liability provisions.
Photography and Video
During singing lessons at Sophie's Sound, photographs and short video recordings may be taken for promotional purposes, such as publication on the website, social media and other promotional materials.
Recognisable photographs or video footage will only be used after the participant has given explicit consent.
For participants under the age of 16, consent from a parent or legal guardian is required.
Giving consent is entirely voluntary and will not affect participation in the singing lessons.
Consent that has been given may be withdrawn at any time by contacting Sophie's Sound. From that moment onwards, Sophie's Sound will no longer use the relevant images or video footage in new publications.
Previously published or printed materials may not always be able to be amended or removed.
7. Force Majeure
In the event of force majeure, including illness, extreme weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances, Sophie's Sound reserves the right to reschedule or cancel an appointment.
In such cases, Sophie's Sound and the client or student will work together to find an appropriate solution.
8. Intellectual Property
All materials, texts, photographs, videos and music developed or created by Sophie's Sound remain the property of Sophie's Sound.
These materials may not be copied, reproduced, distributed or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission from Sophie's Sound.
